“Your hips are too small.”
“Your baby is too big.”
“Baby’s not in the right position.”
“You don’t want to end up going over your due date.”
There are far too many pregnant moms who are who are told disempowering things during their pregnancy. Particularly as the third trimester approaches, you’re thinking more and more about birth. So are your providers and the people around you. The problem is that what they share with you might be filled with negativity, which is the opposite of what you need.
This constant stream of disempowering interactions can take a serious toll on you. Even the most mentally strong mom will begin wondering, “Can I really do this?”
Adjusting Your Mindset
Naturally, there are obstacles that can come up during pregnancy.
But knowing you have someone in your corner, telling you, “You’ve got this” is so valuable for an expecting mom.
You know that chiropractors provide adjustments. Along with your care, we like to say we can help you adjust your mind, too.
Tailored to Your Needs
Every mom’s situation is unique. We have a keen understanding of that and accommodate your specific needs through each stage of pregnancy. All the recommendations we make for your care will be tailored to you and what your body needs.
No two pregnant women are the same. Your care with us will be as frequent or infrequent as you need to be in a good state of health and a positive state of mind, feeling like you can enjoy your pregnancy and look forward to your baby’s birth!
If you’ve never been to a chiropractor before, you may need to see us more often. Or if you’re in the later stages of pregnancy when you begin care, we might ask you to come in with a higher frequency. Some women who began care before pregnancy just need maintenance adjustments every once in a while.
Bring Your Partner in, Too
Thanks to COVID, the experience of pregnancy and birth has changed. Moms and Partners alike are sad and disappointed that both partners can’t attend visits with the doctor. You are both welcome here. You’ll both receive support and feel like you can fully participate in prenatal visits at our office.
We look forward to serving you!
